Water managed by Durness and Kinlochbervie Angling Club
Innis na Ba Buidhe lies north of Kinlochbervie, a substantial hill loch roughly a mile long and up to a quarter-mile wide. The western shore is guarded by high crags, while the eastern bank offers easier fishing access across more open ground.
The loch provides good sport with attractive brown trout averaging eight ounces, though larger fish are present. Wading is relatively safe, and trout can be taken from all areas of the loch. The water offers ideal fishing for those with limited time.
The route follows a gentle climb north from Kinlochbervie, tracking northeast for just over a kilometre across the lower moor before reaching the southern end of the loch.
