water managed by Durness and Kinlochbervie Angling Club
Lochain nan Sac lies close to the coast at low elevation, set a little over a kilometre inland from the sea. It is a very small, shallow loch of roughly 6 hectares, with an average depth just under 5 m. The shoreline is simple and rounded, providing a little over a kilometre of shore, and the water shows moderate alkalinity.
Visitor permits are available for anglers who wish to fish the club’s waters without full membership. These permits offer access to well-maintained fishing grounds in a quiet, scenic setting and help support the ongoing conservation and management of the fishery.
Both experienced anglers and newcomers are welcome. By purchasing a permit, visitors are able to enjoy a day’s fishing while contributing to the care and sustainability of the waters.
