water managed by Durness and Kinlochbervie Angling Club
Loch Aisir Mór lies close to the coast in Highland, set at low elevation among open ground. It is a small, generally shallow loch of roughly 18 hectares, with moderate alkalinity and a simple, rounded shoreline. The margins are uncomplicated and the basin compact.
The water is easily fished from the bank. Access is by a short, straightforward walk trending north-east for just under one kilometre, reaching the east shore of the loch.
Visitor permits are available for anglers who wish to fish the club’s waters without full membership. These permits offer access to well-maintained fishing grounds in a quiet, scenic setting and help support the ongoing conservation and management of the fishery.
Both experienced anglers and newcomers are welcome. By purchasing a permit, visitors are able to enjoy a day’s fishing while contributing to the care and sustainability of the waters.
