Loch Leum na Luirginn is a very small loch lying close to the coast of Highland Scotland, less than three kilometres from the sea and set in low ground among the Skye landscape near Uig. It covers roughly 3 hectares and, despite its modest size, holds moderate depth for a loch of this character. The shoreline is simple and rounded, with little variation in outline, and the water is clear rather than peaty, reflecting the moderate alkalinity of the ground beneath.
The loch is said to contain good fish, though further detail is not recorded here.
Access is straightforward. Walkers can leave vehicles either at the cemetery car park on the Broraig–Uig road or at the foot of the hairpin bend, which many find the more convenient starting point. From there the loch is only a short walk, though the ground calls for some care underfoot.
