water managed by Glenbeg Fishing
Loch na Sailm lies inland above Glenbeg, a few kilometres from the sea. It is a very small, shallow loch of roughly five hectares, set among mid-level moorland. The water has low alkalinity and a short, gently varied shoreline. It holds trout between 8 oz and 1 lb.
Access is on foot from Glenbeg. The route trends north-east for a little over three and a half kilometres, climbing steadily by close to two hundred metres, with a few brief rises, before easing as it reaches the loch.
