water managed by Glenbeg Fishing
Loch na Curraigh lies close to the coast on low ground. It is a very small water of just over a hectare, shallow for its size with a mean depth a little under five metres. The shoreline is simple and gently rounded, and the loch carries moderate alkalinity.
As the season advances it becomes weedy, and the south end is very boggy and dangerous and should be avoided. Access is straightforward: a footpath trends north-west for just under a kilometre, climbing gently by around forty metres to reach the loch.
