Forsinard Flyfishers’ Club

Forsinard Flyfishers’ Club, is a recently constituted, not-for-profit group whose main aim is to enhance the fishing opportunities available in the Strath Halladale area for the local community and visiting anglers.

The club has enjoyed tremendous support from the Bighouse Estate, Strath Halladale River Partnership, The RSPB, Mike Ashmole and Mick Moore & Associates who have kindly granted leases with permission to fish their lochs. This level of support from local estates/landowners has been fantastic, for which we are truly grateful, and in order to maintain these positive partnerships it is imperative that members read fully and abide to the club rules.

For novice anglers and specimen hunters alike, the quality of fishing on offer is amazing, with certain lochs producing scores of 50+ trout in a day while others have boasted fish as large as 6lb 14oz – This truly is a trout fishers’ paradise!
