Water managed by Forsinard Flyfishers’ Club
A 4×4 or high-clearance vehicle is essential for navigating the rugged track leading to Loch Nam Breac. Upon reaching the track's end, a brief 5-8 minute walk eastward through a forest ride, traversing wet and boggy terrain, brings anglers to the west bank after crossing a deer fence style.
In periods of low water, Loch Nam Breac serves as a minor compensation flow to the Halladale River, resulting in fluctuations of the water level by as much as 7-8 feet throughout the season.
Boasting a substantial population of fish averaging 8 ounces, anglers can anticipate abundant catches from all sides of this loch.
