Loch Bad an t-Sluic lies in Assynt, set among low moorland between Suileag and Little Assynt, above Loch Druim Suardalain. It is a small, shallow water of roughly 13 hectares, lying at low elevation with low alkalinity. The shoreline is moderately varied and the loch averages about 5 metres in depth. It holds a good population of wild brown trout, mainly to about 1/2 lb. A boat is available.
Access is either from the south or the north. From the south, follow the track from Loch Druim Suardalain up the hill behind Suileag bothy to the loch. From the north, walk up from Little Assynt via Loch an Leothaid and Loch Crom to reach the water.
