About

The River Creed fishery offers accessible and affordable salmon and sea trout fishing in the Western Isles.

The fishery includes 4 miles of double bank river fishing with 20 named pools and bank and boat fishing on two lochs. It operates from April 1st to October 31st, with the most productive months being July, August, and September. River fishing quality depends on sufficient rainfall, while loch fishing conditions are influenced by wind direction.
The fishery is easily accessible with parking close to the river.

The most productive pool is The Bend Pool, located within the Castle Grounds. While most catches are grilse, multi-sea-winter fish are occasionally caught, with a notable catch of 19 pounds in recent years.
