Water managed by Shetland Anglers Association
The unnamed lochan lies north of Houlland, set among low, coastal moor close to the sea. Very small at roughly 1.4 hectares, it is shallow, only a few metres deep, with a simple outline and low alkalinity.
It holds trout, with some fish to around 2 lb; the water has been stocked by the Shetland Anglers Association. Access is on foot from Houlland: a straightforward walk of about 3 km, trending north-east over easy ground with only slight rises, leads to the loch.
