Water managed by Seiont Gwyrfai & Llyfni fishing Society
This lake is fairly sizable, covering approximately 12 acres. It is home to various wild brown trout measuring between 6 and 12 inches, along with a few larger specimens. The trout are actively rising, and the lake tends to fish well even on inclement weather days. The edges are relatively shallow, making waders a useful accessory.
Access to the lake is via a track located at the rear of Llanberis, which is generally suitable for most regular vehicles, though a 4×4 may be recommended during poor weather conditions. Parking is available just below the lake, adjacent to a ruined building along the track. The walk to the lake takes about 10 minutes, ascending a gentle slope.
