The River Ose runs down to the sea at Osedale, a spate river that depends on rainfall to bring it into condition. It fishes best when dropping back after a spate, as the water clears and settles into its pools and runs.
It holds brown trout throughout and receives a run of sea trout, with the chance of a salmon among them. For the lower reaches, a lay-by at Ose Bridge on the A863 Sligachan to Dunvegan road provides convenient parking. The upper reaches are reached from Balmeanach Road, following the forestry track and taking the first right into Glen Ullinish.
