Llyn Cwm Corsiog

water managed by Cambrian Angling Association

Duration: 00:59 Distance: 2.93 km Ascent: 238.5m Difficulty: 43 / 100
High alkalinity Shallow Low shoreline complexity Mid elevation Very small

Any method is permitted.
The lake is at around 1,720 feet above sea level and 1 and a half hour's walk from Tanygrisiau.

At 7 acres, Cwm Corsiog is an excellent early-season lake until the weed grows in mid-summer making some of it unfishable. It can still be fished successfully after then by changing to floating lines and dry flies, casting over the weed into clear patches.

The trout are numerous and very free rising, and they run up to 3/4lb.
