water managed by Cambrian Angling Association
Llyn Llagi lies in open hill country, set below steep cliffs. It is a very small loch of roughly five hectares, shallow on average, with clear, low-alkalinity water. The shoreline is simple and mostly low, with one reach of rock where the cliffs drop close to the edge.
The loch holds wild brown trout of good average size, hard-fighting fish. Try your flies below the steep cliffs.
Access is on foot and a good hike, but worth the effort. The approach is across open hill ground to this mid-elevation water.
