Mug's Pool is located on the River Ulladale, at the head of a large pool or lochan where fish can be found. Under favorable conditions, such as high water levels, catching fish can be almost certain for one rod. Reedy is a small lochan located about 200 yards above Mug's, and there is a small boat suitable for one rod.

To reach Mug's and Reedy, one must first drive to Voshimid and then walk over the ridge to the left of Voshimid and down the next glen. The walk is about three miles long and includes rough terrain with hillocks, steep descent, and no recognised path.
