Loch Voshimid is renowned for having one of Europe’s most productive salmon and sea trout lochs.
It is easily accessible by vehicle, located at the end of the Meavaig track, with the access point only 100 yards away.
There are are two boats available, accommodating up to four rods.
Fishing can be good under most conditions, except for gales, and it is at its best when there is a southwest wind and broken clouds.
To access the river, one can use a vehicle or take a boat to the north end of the loch. However, please be aware that the banks of the river are quite rough, with no path, so care should be taken while fishing. The river is only fishable during a spate and can take two rods. Nonetheless, fishing in the river can be a great source of fun.
