There is excellent brown trout fishing on Mill Loch.
The trout average 3/4lb and fish of 11/2lb are not uncommon.
Fishing is best from July to September. September being the best month.
You'll also have a better chance of encountering Salmon and Sea trout in this month which frequent the loch.

Bank fishing is best, with fish lying close in. Try the the North bank if the weather permits or the reedy bay on the south bank.

The loch is sheltered from the hills when the wind blows from the east but a westerly wind is best.
