Water managed by Shetland Anglers Association
This group of lochs lie up in the hills between Aith and Weisdale and would be a great day’s fishing for the angler who likes walking and solitude. Park at the bridge at the head of East Burrafirth and follow the path up the burn to the waterfall. Continue up the burn to where it forks then take the left which will take you to the Loch of Lunklet. There are good stocks of hard fighting little trout of 4 to 8oz here.
The trout in Lamba Water are a little bigger and there is deep water close to shore. Maa water is similar but there are some fish of a pound or better.
Truggles Water is shallow with good numbers of 6oz fish and the east shore seems to be most productive.
