Migratory run
Salmon run from late June, peaking in July and largely over by the end of August. Sea trout run from June, building to a peak in August and tailing off through September. Spring tides every ~2 weeks bring fresh fish in from the sea to the river mouths.

Located at the head of the Halladale system is a small loch where fish run up later in the season. It is good for 2 or 3 hours of fishing. There is 1 boat for 2 rods. Also fishes well from the shore.
