The two Gamallt Lakes are situated in the Western part of the Migneint Mountain, being the expanse of mountain that stretches between the parishes of Ffestiniog and Bala, in Merionethshire.
Both Lakes, the Big Lake and the Small Lake, are considered to be the amongst the best of the Cambrian Angling Association waters for wild brown trout.
